Lydia's Disappearance
A horrible even has struck Longbourn. My dear sister, Lydia, has run away with Wickham. I have never seen my father this shocked. I pray that they find her soon. My uncle was kind enough to go into town to search for her. I can't believe that Wickham could have bad intentions. I pray for everyone's safety and the quick return of my father.
Miss Darcy
Lizzy tells me that she has met Miss Darcy. She believes that the rumors of her being proud or arrogant are incorrect and blames her shyness as their origin. I understand what it is like to have shyness or modesty misunderstood. If I had been more open with my emotions, I may have now been Mrs. Bingley. But, there is no point with living in the past and I will move on.
Lizzy's Excitement
I'm exceedingly shocked at what has happened to Lizzy. It seems that while she was visiting Pemberly, she ran into Mr. Darcy. I know how difficult it must be for them to come face-to-face after such heart-break. I hope it is painless for both of them. With a sister as remarkable as Lizzy, I will be amazed if he doesn't fall for her again.
Cute Cousins
After some delays, Lizzy is now travelling with the Gardiners. They have brought their children to Longbourn and I have been watching them. It is always such a treat to play with my cousins. Children always are exceedingly sweet, but my cousins are certainly some of the kindest souls around. Perhaps one day I will have my own house with children running around.

Lydia's Leaving
Lydia will soon leave us to visit Brighton. I won't say that I envy her, but a distraction from a certain man would be lovely. I pray for her safety and trust that Mrs. Forster will keep her out of harm's way. I'm sorry that Kitty feels left out. Perhaps I will include her in my next shopping trip to try to lift her spirits.
Who to believe?
I'm still in shock after hearing about the letter from Mr. Darcy. It's difficult to doubt Wickham's good nature, but even more so to question Darcy's. I want my opinion of both men to be positive; however, I'm finding it difficult to maintain one without losing the other. I advised Lizzy not to ruin Wickham's honor by revealing the truth. He can't deserve that kind of punishment.
Rejection Pain
Lizzy told me the most astonishing thing! Apparently, Mr. Darcy proposed to her. I always knew she was a special girl, whodeserves a well-bred man. Her refusal must have been a great disappointment to him. It's a shame that hispride meant that he didn't expect her rejection. I, especially, can understand the pain from losing one you love.
Charlotte's News
I can hardly wait to see Lizzy! She arrives today with Maria. I hope her trip went smoothly. I anxiously await her arrival so that I may hear about our dear friend Charlotte. She is a most thoughtful woman that Mr. Collins is lucky to have. With someone as agreeable as Charlotte, he will always be content.

Separation
It's been so long since I've seen Longbourn. I've begun to miss my family, especially Lizzy. I will hopefully see her soon. Then, we will have many stories to share about each of our trips. Lizzy and Charlotte's younger sister with soon leave Mr. Collin's home for London.
London to Longbourn
London is such a change from Longbourn. Although I love my home, the city provides a much needed distraction. Everything feels new. I have met some delightfully agreeable new friends here. I have even had the occasion to dine with them.
London
I went shopping today with Mrs. Gardiner. The streets were bustling with people dressed in exquisite clothes. You could feel the wealth in the atmosphere. I would love to have silk dressed covered in lace that I could wear to balls. I'm content with my clothes though, and am glad for the women who get to wear satin.
Gardiners Children
I've been staying with the Gardiners lately. They have four of the most adorable children. The 2 boys, James and Kent, can run for hours without tiring. I can hardly keep up! The girls are quieter and enjoy being read to. They especially enjoy Goodnight Moon.
