 I went shopping today with Mrs. Gardiner. The streets were bustling with people dressed in exquisite clothes. You could feel the wealth  in the atmosphere. I would love to have silk dressed covered in lace that I could wear to balls. I'm content with my clothes though, and am glad for the women who get to wear satin.
