Lydia's Return
My sister returned with her new husband, Mr. Wickham. Luckily, they seem happy together. She can not sing his praise enough although almost everyone else, especially Lizzy, has grown tired of it. My mother is the exception. She has Lydia tell the story almost every meal. Now, Lydia feels entitled to all of our mothers affection because she has married before me.

Grown tired of it? I passed that stage long ago; I know she is my sister, but I can hardly wait until their visit comes to an end. Don't let mother's obsession with the marriage get to you either. What was her affection ever been worth? Anyway, I hear Bingley is visiting, and I can only imagine that it has to do with you.
